I have been meaning for months—I mean, really, months, as in since last fall—to make a light box for photography purposes. I try to use natural light when I can, but some days don’t lend themselves to photo shoots, and a light box solves that problem. So I found a box and some good instructions (try this or this for starters, or just Google it). And then they sat in the corner for a long, long time.
Since I’m currently in a phase where I am only able to work on projects in very short increments, I have been sort of catching up on simple things that don’t require a lot of time but were procrastinated for one reason or another. Today I decided it was time to make my light box.
I still have to work out what I need for adequate lighting, but I’ve been playing around a little and can already see what a nice tool this is going to be. (Photos are of a little metal chair I picked up at a local shop. For some reason I couldn’t resist it.)
Hooray for getting the little things done!

It’s great! I’ve been meaning to make one for ages but have been too lazy.
