Thank you to all of you who participated in my first giveaway. It was a totally respectable turn out, and I had fun reading your comments. There were some great guesses for the contest part of the giveaway, and you made me realize I’d actually stitched in a few extra “secrets” without even realizing it!

Now on to the matter at hand. The winner of the first prize (the pincushion, fabrics, and ribbon) and the first person to correctly guess both secrets was the lovely Skebba! She wrote:

What I came up with was the picture of golfing in the office (referring to owing your hubby golfing time) and the box marked Sarah in the attic (referring to your cousin Sarah who inspired your love of cross-sectioned houses).

Skebba was right on top of this one, leaving her comment, the very first one on the post, within minutes of me clicking “publish.” And then I made her wait a whole week to find out she’d won! You may have also noticed that I added a second prize for a random commenter. The little cushion you see above, a smaller version of my Petal’s Edge pillow, is the prize. (You can see a couple more photos, including the backing fabric, on my flickr page.) I used a random number generator and got #10, which would be Andrea M., who’s just getting back into embroidery. Andrea, I’ll be in touch, and have fun with the embroidery!

I have to admit, the hardest part for me is that there can only be two winners. I wanted all of you to win! Stay tuned, though, because I have some more goodies (think multiple giveaways—woohoo!) planned for the grand opening of the shop. Thanks again for playing!
