September Sun

The redwork is finished and winging its way to Australia. I am hopeful that it will survive the trip in tact (no nosy customs officials poking around at it—ah, all those little loose ends so carefully tucked in!).

I feel honored to have participated in the project with so many amazing people, to have done something I’m proud of … and immensely relieved to be finished and able to move on to something else. Whew!

The weather is turning here, and one of my favorite kinds of sunlight—Autumn light—is inspiring me to no end. And now we’re off to enjoy what promises to be a beautiful weekend. Have a good one!

Yahoo for finishing your quilt square. I can’t wait to see pictures of it. It is a great project to be part of.

It’s funny to read about you loving the change to Autumn as I am over here in Australia loving the change to Spring.
