Last weekend we went to a nearby, very family-friendly amusement park, home of one of the largest remaining carousels. All 63 of the horses were hand carved in 1912, and I was struck by what a lot of time and skill that must have taken.
We stayed long after the rides had started to light the night sky, and as we carried sleepy babies out of the park, I snapped a few shots of one of my favorite rides, the Ferris wheel.
It’s amazing how, when you start making a practice of creativity, you see art everywhere you look, isn’t it?
I’ll be back next week with my completed mystery project and my first-ever giveaway. Have a good weekend!
