I appear to be in a bit of a blogging lull. I have, though, been able to get quite a few projects going in my creative space, and I’m starting to see some of them near finished. That’s always a good feeling.
(Preface: My apologies for the sub-par camera phone photos. A certain kitten, who apparently wants to be turned into a handbag, chewed through the power cord to my camera charger. My battery is dead, and I have yet to remedy the situation.)
Right now I’m completing a little lavender-filled sachet for a quick gift. I like these small bits because they’re relatively simple to put together but still very satisfying, perhaps partly because the gratifying finish is more immediate.
I’m also working on some other little things that you’ll be seeing (hopefully) in the near future. Think shop openings, giveaways, freebies. I may have had to delay my opening, but when it does open, it’s gonna be big!
(Maybe I’m being a little foolish to talk it up so much before it’s actually happened, but I really am excited, and getting so close!)
Now back to work, while the baby is actually sleeping. Shhh! (Sneak over to kootoyoo for more creative places.

Lot’s of lovely projects going on there! I’m looking forward to all the great things to come!!
Doh! in regards to your camera charger. One of our cats had a habit of doing that for a while. Chewed through many important cords. She seems to have grown out of the habit thankfully!

written on October 8th, 2009, at 3:54 amMost kittens eventually outgrow the eating thing… Some dogs never do. My sister’s mastiff has eaten a bedspread, headphones, cellphone, entire chicken carcass, several items labeled “indestructible”…. I hope yours outgrows the electronic snacking before he becomes an accessory. :-)
Love the embroidered flowers, too. Best of luck with opening the shop!
