My (Snowy) Creative Space

The Blues

I’ve got a few baby blankets to make for gifts, some belated, some imminent, so I’ve put away the embroidery for some crochet and knitting. Rather a nice change of pace. Also, it’s snowing bucket loads here today, so I don’t mind at all having a soft, thick blanket over my lap.

I’m doing my Creative Space post sort of habit style this week. Do you know habit? Don’t you love it? More creative spaces at kootoyoo.

Could someone explain why it is always in the middle of a sweltering summer that I feel the need to knit and crochet big woolly things? Sheesh. I need to take a leaf…

Snowing? *sigh* of envy… Your crochet looks great. I think I need to channel thoughts of snow to get back to mine. I’m with you, Tania, why do we do this in such heat?! Great space Gretchen. Kx

Snow, how wonderful (can you tell I have never lived anywhere that it has snowed – I am sure it loses it’s appeal). The blue is gorgeous.

Yes, having a soft, thick blanket over your lap sounds like a perfect thing to do to keep warm… which is so hard to imagine as it is 31 degrees (87 F!) over here today!
