Some people like Mondays. A lot of people don’t. I’m indifferent, since I stay at home and my job goes on 7 days a week. No late-Sunday-night-work-tomorrow groaning for me. But for those of you who do find your Monday a little dreary, how about this candy-colored basket of delight?
My grandma asked me if I’d like to go through her old yarn stash and take what I wanted. I don’t need a lot of “regular” yarn right now, have plenty of my own to use up, but I did come across quite a large supply of thin crochet cotton, such as is used for doilies or tatting. I could use this for so many different purposes (and I’ve been wanting to try my hand at tatting). So I scooped it up and took it home.
How’s that for a basket of cheer? I hope you’re able to find some rainbows in your Monday, too!

i remember those 24/7 days…your cottons are like a basket of candy…a delight!

I am always happy for some eye candy! Thank you I am loving it!

Lovely, thanks for that! Certainly brightened my Monday! Though I have to admit that I don’t work Mondays anyway ;) But a little colour brightens any day :)
