Wings for Lia

wingsforlia

This Friday I’m going to take a break from the usual business around here to spread the word about something important: The family of a friend of mine needs the compassion and generosity that I know exists in abundance in this online community. Their beautiful little girl, Lia, suffers from severe and mysterious health issues that have been present her entire young life. They have been through so much, and I can only imagine the toll this takes on all of them.

In order to assist them financially, Lia’s family members are hosting an art auction to raise donations. If you are a Maker of Things, will you consider gifting them with a piece of your work for the auction? Even if you can donate one small piece, it will make a difference!

You can click here for more details and to contact them. Will you also help spread the word?

Thank you so much, friends! Have a good weekend!

Thank you for posting! You have started an avalanche of love with your beautiful art donation and spreading the word! I’ve heard from several people who have decided to get involved because of you. (Like Linda and Allison)
You are a blessing and I hope that someday I can give right back to you somehow. I am humbled by all of this. Thank you so very very much

She’s in my prayers. What an awful thing for a young person and her family to have to go through…
