A Whole Bushel

Today was a day of small to-do’s that somehow managed to consume the entire day. The good news is one of those to-do’s was photos of my “peaches ‘n’ cream” wedding invitations.

I made two simple and soft watercolor paintings—a peach and some peach blossoms that are rather more peach in color than the real thing in order to match the wedding colors. Then I got to indulge in my love of design to make up custom invitations, RSVP cards, and even address labels. There will be programs, place cards, announcements, and thank you cards forthcoming.

I am contemplating offering some of my designs as custom, print-your-own invitation packages in the shop but am wondering if that might get very complicated….

Hope your week is “peachy”!

Those are just gorgeous – beautiful job!

PS – tried those chips tonight. Awesome. I’m thinking of tossing them with those powdered popcorn flavours next time.

Dreamy peachiness. I think custom invitations is a lovely idea – custom artwork would make them so very special for any big occasion.
Also, comments on chips are closed but I want to tell you there is NO WAY I’m trying those because I will never, ever stop. I love my mandolin too, btw.
