In the Studio (and Art Camp)

Art Camp (3)

Art Camp

Art Camp (2)

Someday, maybe, my creative slump will end. Or I’ll just move on to a new phase and give it up. We’ll see. But for now, I’m taking a couple of online art classes by Carla Sonheim. I really, really enjoyed the ones I did with her last Summer. (You might remember me talking about them here and here and here and probably other places too.) This year’s class offerings didn’t really interest me … but I decided to take them anyway, because sometimes it’s good to just do something different. So I am, and I’m having fun, just like I knew I would. Thanks, Carla!

Oh, that’s so ironic-funny . . . just last week I posted about an art book I’d bought that seemed like fun . . . “Drawling Lab”, by Carla Sonheim ;-).

I’m glad you decided to sign up for the classes and are enjoying them =).

I thought of you yesterday when I was reading a new-to-me blog: http://drawingsaudade.blogspot.com/. She recently started a Doodle Project, which I’m enjoying following along.

That’s great that you are doing a class! Slumps are hard hey… but try not to worry about it… you are just doing other things at the moment, that’s all :) Hope it helps x

Well, drawling ( hee hee) slumps aside, I do think that photo of the pastels (is that what they are?) with the green painted/etched (again ?) glass and the top of your work is very beautiful.
