Oh. Hmm. Hi.
Seems there’s a lot of vortex-dwelling going around, but I may have a particularly bad case of it. There’s just … always been something else to do first.
Sometimes it’s somethings that are important, sometimes not so much. And, if I’m being perfectly honest, I’ve had a whole lot of “I don’t feel like it” going on, too. But since some of you lovelies have actually noticed my disappearance and sent e-mails to check in, I thought maybe I ought to at least try a quick update. Maybe it will be a good jump start or … well, we’ll see.
I’ve got nothing new to show creativity-wise, sorry to say, for all the same reasons. But! I did manage to spruce the shop and the blog, since we’re moving into Autumn around here. (My apologies to those of you who are thinking sunshine and beaches right now in other parts of the world!)
I’m currently training for a half marathon (13.1 miles), which is one of the somethings I’ve been doing. And I’m at least thinking about drawing, which doesn’t seem good enough, since I love it so much … but it’s a start in the right direction. Perhaps something new will make an appearance one of these days.
In the meantime, some recycled photos of Autumnal artwork (which can be found in my shop, if you care), and a hello. Thank you to the kind souls who checked on me, and thanks for sticking around, those of you who are still here. I may be stuck under a pile of leaves, but I still think you’re great!

Hello! Pretty Fall going on here! Ours is pretty much over. Feeling Fall-ish anyhow. Good job on the running!
written on October 3rd, 2012, at 2:53 pmOh Hello! Pretty pictures, lovely autumnal banner and a happy nice to see you again! I have just posted about the dust gathering on my sewing machine. Perhaps with the Fall weather coming on I will suddenly be a flurry of creative activity!
Happy Fall!
written on October 3rd, 2012, at 3:59 pmI think I’m glad you’re stuck under a pile of leaves because I have been too. For all the reasons you mentioned, except training for a marathon. That’s NOT me! LOL Look forward to seeing you soon! And recycled or not, I love to see your artwork!
written on October 3rd, 2012, at 4:25 pmWhy hello there long time no see :) Yep we are going into sunshine and beaches here… it’s such lovely weather at the moment but I love autumn too! Good luck with your marathon training… wish I had the stamina to do that! :)
written on October 3rd, 2012, at 4:36 pmHello fellow vortex dweller! It’s spring here and acting like summer and I’m much more an autumn person so thank goodness for your autumny hues. Running is important! (I remember how easy it is to be addicted to that – at least before my knee fell off). Meanwhile, every little effort is ‘good enough’ (and so is ‘no effort at all’). But ’tis most excellent to hear from you. XXX
written on October 3rd, 2012, at 8:43 pmlovely to hear from you again! your blog definitely looks spruced up for autumn – very nice!
written on October 4th, 2012, at 5:06 amI’ve only just begun taking small day trips out of the vortex myself! Was offline for two months so I completely understand… However, I missed my internet tribe.
Best of luck with the marathon training! I don’t typically run unless chased, and even then, I weigh the cons of getting caught against the pros of running before I’ll take a step so I’m utterly impressed and awed at your undertaking – good for you!
written on October 4th, 2012, at 2:39 pmI can’t speak for any others but no matter how long your leafy sabbatical, I’ll be here when you pop on up. And…GO Sporty Spice!
written on October 5th, 2012, at 9:09 pmGood luck with your upcoming marathon!!! and enjoy the Autumn beauty =).
written on October 6th, 2012, at 8:42 pmSorry Gretchen, I have almost missed your post! Don’t worry – it’s always lovely to see/hear what you have been up to – creative or not :D Hope it’s nice and cosy there, underneath the leaves – it sounds quite pleasant actually!
